The best Mac 'n' Cheese I can remember was the stuff they served for 'hot' lunch at school here in Saline, Mich. from grade school all the way thru high school. Only had 2 boxes of the cheap crap but used real butter added a couple pieces of american & sharp cheddar. Added a bit more whole milk than instructions on box recommends and cooked off excessive liquid Mmmmmm yummy. Just like home made in 1/2 the time.
