Mr. Not
Songs can make me sad, but I have only teared up / cried to a song once in my life. And the song was *drum roll* Bacchus Plateau. I was 18. Edited July 5, 2016 by Mr. Not

J2112YYZ
I wouldn't say there are any specific songs that get me every time. But there are ones that have made me cry when it was the right song, mood and moment all coming together at once.

Entre_Perpetuo
Coldplay in general makes me very emotional, especially AROBTTH, especially In My Place, God Put A Smile Upon Your Face, THE SCIENTIST, Warning Sign, and Green Eyes. If I'm actually crying to Coldplay though, I was probably already really sad about something. Many other songs I've found breathtaking and emotional experiences in themselves. Supper's Ready, Nevermore (Queen), and more.

An old song called Taxi, by Harry Chapin, was poignant and said so much about wasted times. Another really old Perry Como song I remember my dad singing when I was a child.
