The only Eli Roth-directed film I've seen is Hostel...and that was absolute garbage.

Listening to some interviews with him talking about movies makes me think there's more garbage from him to come.

I don't mind Bruce but a Death Wish reboot done by Roth wreaks of uselessness.

OMG

I rarely respond in here because I hate Hollywood. NO MORE IDEAS.

REMAKE SHIT GLIT CITY!

DUH!

A DEATH WISH remake?

So stupid. RIP CHARLES BRONSON.

You young kids have no fuckingg clue. Sad.

So what's next?

When will they remake "Halloween?"

Oh shit?

Carpenter

Zombie

Carpenter

I'm sick.

When will they remake "Prince Of Darkness?"

"Escape From New York" Starring THE ROCK?

FUKK HOLLYWOOD.

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

"Sign Of The Times"

And Bronson was like in his 50s when he made Death Wish.....Willis is at least 60 now...,,

Eli Roth is one of the biggest, most overrated hacks in the movie business.

Bruce Willis is obviously willing to do anything to keep himself an action movie star, this is ridiculous.

I hope it flops and Eli Roth puts all his unearned earnings to good use and retires young.

Truer words have never been spoken. Good, original American films are a very endangered species.

The original Death Wish is what it is, perfect in itself. Personally, I don't hate and, at the same time, I don't love it. It's an awkward film with mix messages and it's locked in its era. It's a dirty, gritty 1970s New York City film. It looks filthy. It makes you feel filthy. I watch it every time I come across it on cable.

I guess Eli Roth wants to re-interpret for the revenge porn crowd. I couldn't care less.

Cabin Fever was quite possibly the worst, most forced POS I have ever seen

I echo the sentiments already stated about Roth

His cannibal movie was even worse.

Unfortunately the trend is also ongoing in the world of I Am the Slime. The latest being Mike Epps's sorry ass job of reprising John Candy's Uncle Buck.

Disgusting.

Green Inferno.

Didn't see it after I noticed Roth made it.

It's not my fault I saw it.

But it cemented my opinion that Eli Roth is a terrible director.

"Not my fault"

Don't worry, I've seen tons of garbage I was roped into. Sometimes we just fall into it like quicksand.

Speaking of "roped into", I watched the DVD "Making Of" for Hostel and one bit had Roth taking the viewers through the studio's back offices etc until we reach the bathroom. He makes some stupid joke then shows the skid marks someone left inside the toilet bowl. He makes more stupid comments regarding the streaks like some immature 13 year old then laughs at his own joke.

A behind the scenes look at his latest movie and Roth's showing viewers the brown stains in a toilet bowl?! That's not shocking, that's moronic. How relative, imaginative, interesting, and above all, classy!

How about Uwe Boll's House of the Dead?

Is Cabin Fever worse? It can't be. Can it?

I admit that House Of The Dead was one of the few movies I just couldn't finish watching .. It was a joke that was not entertaining or funny ..

I was stuck in a theater with Cabin Fever .. but the really annoying aspect of Roth's movies is that he tries so hard to be cutting edge, avant-garde, or whatever you wanna call it ... He thinks he is the only guy who gets the kitsch of the low budget films of the past ..

With that in mind, Cabin Fever is worse ... House knows it sucks - Cabin thinks it is smart

Yeah, I get that.

I've only seen Roth's Hostel and I've only seen Boll's House of the Dead...and yeah, I have to agree that Hostel seemed to think it was cool/stylish BUT it was crap. Meanwhile, House of the Dead knew it was crap but mistakenly thought it was good for being so crap.

That's a lot of crap!

Attacked by crazed Islander fans with cheap beer.

What has Brooklyn become???

I remember when the worst that would happen there is loose needles poking your feet and muggers stealing your Walkman.
