I always obsess over the band(s) I'm seeing next in concert.

I've never been a Dead fan but I saw them last November and I'm seeing the in NYC June 16th.

I've been playing a lot of Grateful Dead bootlegs.

Ghost

Sonata Arctica

Lacuna Coil

Trivium

Of these four, Lacuna Coil the most. They seem to have settled themselves firmly back into my regular rotation again (I can go months without playing them after years of hearing them nearly every day).

Artist wise, it would be Michael Jackson. But the latest bands I was obsessing over were I believe Dream Theater and Queensryche.

I just put on The Doors debut.

Add them too my list...I rarely stop a Doors listen before the last note of L.A. Woman.

For me they are always a binge listen. I'm not usually in the mood, but when I am I can't get enough.

Same!

I'm onto Morrison Hotel.

Once this is done I may not play them for another two years haha

Lacuna Coil

Paradise Lost

Easily my two favourite bands.

Nightwish too but I'm not in the mood for them at the moment.

Alice Cooper.

Haven't listened to anything else this week.

yes i did. any albums you recommend?

From his 70s stuff I would go with:

Killer

Billion Dollar Babies

Welcome To My Nightmare

Alice Cooper Goes To Hell

From The Inside

Yes, it is. But I like Cooper when he gets really out there with his song writing. So, that's why I recommend those ones.
