Finally admit Permanent Waves is a 70's album

Cut in the 70's released in the 80's.. that'd be an 80's album imo. How does the (record) industry view this ?

As for reviving this forum.. not got a cat-in-hells-chance, mate !.

In the future there will be a "What Killed TRF?" poll

Neil Peart will probably occupy choice slot 1.

It's not his fault. It's the people picking on him like they expect him to be better than an average human.

We need a scapegoat his name is Neil. He is the problem not me, I haven't given up on the band.

Now all we need is entertainment.

Anyone?

Could hire this guy

Looks like our kind! He'll fit right in. Just what TRF needs.

We have to get him a Rush t-shirt though. What size does he wear?

Maybe he plays the keyboards better than Geddy. ;)

people always say what do you like most,

I don't wanna brag i don't wanna boast,

I always tell 'em I like toast.

I was looking at some of the older polls here and there were dozens of people who voted. Now it's a surprise when there are 20. There was a mass exodus when retirement talk started up.

Don't forget that the polls used to be in the main Rush section where there was more traffic. The poll participation started to decline when they all got moved to the Feedback section. Logically, it was the right move to make but not as many people venture into that section. I forget to check there a lot myself.

Another thing that may have attributed to the lack of posts on here is the "like" option. Instead of posting a reply and keeping the conversation going, all to often the like option is clicked on and that's the end of it.

Obviously, the retirement from the road doesn't help but there were a lot of people who left this forum before R40 ever happened. Sometimes you just reach the point where you've said all you can say about things and it's time to move on.

I stay here for many of the members. It may not be reciprocated in all cases, but they mean a lot to me. I liken this place to a private club I go to six days a week.

It's like LIX said a long time ago: he came for the band and stayed for the people.

Well, if you asked him he'd be the first to tell you he IS better than an average human. Or don't ask him, just read his books.

My first serious reply here. And it may be a bit unpopular. Reform Grand Designs. Get rid of most of the topics with zero purpose but to boost post numbers (funny that this comes from the guy with the Count To Infinity or Woo Thread).

Would this be poll worthy?
