I have a feeling that wherever Earl goes, he meets people and band members and makes all these cool connections.

If I had 1/10th of his energy I might make something of myself ;)

Well stop listening to all that complicated crap and put on some Detroit Rock City

I listened to VH2 the other day. so yeah.

Is that the 7/4 version of VH-1 ??

Hey Earl, do you know the story behind the line "Moving fast, doin' 95" ?? ... Paul actually says "Moving fast, down 95" , as Paul is a New Yorker/ East Coast guy - thinking about Route 95 ... But after they finished the recording, they realized that Route 95 does not go near Detroit, they changed the lyric sheet in the album to "doin' 95" even though Paul actually says "down 95"

I think Ezrin tweaked it on the remix Resurrected in 2012

Interesting. Since I grew up on the east coast, I always thought it WAS "down 95".

If anyone had 1/10th of his energy they'd be able to provide enough power for L.A. for the next five millennia.

He's electric!

Yo mutha fukkas! You know I love you all!

Just got back from Bad Company and Joe Walsh.

Joe was really slow but he was so fuckking cool. They did "Take It To The Limit" for Glenn.

Bad Company fuckking nailed it.

Jesus. My first time seeing them. Paul killed it.

One of the greatest frontmen in the world.

Oh shit. This is my thread so I don't care about hijackers.

Jack off if you want.

Life is short and yes Gina nailed it.

I put a lot of time. money and energy into rock and roll.

Eventually it will all be over so I have to go for it while I can!!

I never thought it a million years I would meet Mikkey Dee and give him a big hug! EPIC!!

I can't make this shit up!

So yes.

Instead of hanging with my Rush Forum buddies in Reno I waited for three hours to meet GHOST and they payoff was better than a progressive slot machine payout.

Well sort of.

I'm very blessed in my life yet very cursed too. I think we all are.

Being at the right place at the right time is what I strive for.

I believe in fate and or destiny.

There is no doubt. Especially after being lucky enough to find that ticket in the Hard Rock.

My element.

My true love.

My enlightenment.

My everything.

MY DAUGHTERS FRIENDS!!!!!

THEN MUSIC!!!!!!!!!

Music is my religion.

Music is my permanent passion.

I am connected to the Universe through rock and roll.

No doubt about it.

I've been on this fuckking forum for ten years.

I think you can archive me and realize that it's the TRUTH.

I don't bullshit.

I don't lie.

If some of you who read this think that I am a whack job, a drunk, a drug addict, a looney toon, a psycho, a prude, a cocky arrogant prick, an EGOIST, then hey,

That's your problem.

Please grow up and don't be like my ex wife.

"I'm Bad, I'm Nationwide."

Actually on here I'm "WORLDWIDE LIVE!" LOL!!!

Lovedrive,

ZZ TOP and The Scorpions

Fuckk the haters!

I know who my real friends are.

And I don't need to make new ones but then again I am always open to the challenge.................

ROCK AND ROLL MAKES ME A 10!!!

RUSH MAKES ME AN 11

Wait! I think that's Spinal Tap.......

Get it?

I'm getting bored.

Nite!

No my brother! No clue.

Hence the reason I still come on here.

EDDIE DRUNK SHOULD BE THROWN IN THE BACK OF A FUKKING TRUNK AND PUSHED INTO A LAKE!

Sorry! But wait.

Deep breath.

Why should I apologize.

Eddie Trunk couldn't even respond to my questions about hard rock and metal.

I am being truthful.

Why would I lie on here in public?

Eddie is sadly useless when it comes to rock knowledge.

He may be a great human.

Good.

His rock and metal knowledge is shite.

Not saying I'm better.

But yeah, my EGO which is actually insecure and scared wants a show! LOL!

Im just not even going to waste my time on here about his babbling comments about RUSH.

Useless like a bull with tits.

Why me God?

Why me Neil Peart?

Peart? YOU RUINED MY LIFE!

For the better!!!!!

Earl, you are insane, but in all the good ways! And for people who haven't met him, he's just a friendly guy who is super passionate about music.

We're safe in any kind of Arts. Surely it includes Music, which is above.

Because Art is among the greatest things we can ever find in life and Music is part of it.

The amazing thing is how Rush and rock 'n roll itself brings people together for a cause, all over the world.

I looked at ticket image again, it's incredible, really. :)

I'm still not sure exactly what happened or why he now sounds a little angry but it seems like Earl had a good time. Good deal

Dude. I was a tiny bit annoyed last night. I guess I need to move on from the past. To quote a song by Billy Idol, I still need to flush this "Bitter Pill" out of my system.

Labels are for infants.

I'm good.

I'm happy.

I'm strong.

I love being single and free.

Worth every penny.

Rock and Roll has saved my soul.

Bottom line.

I had one of the greatest Las Vegas weekend in my life so far and the funny thing is I went alone!

I saw Queensryche and the Scorpions at the Hard Rock.

I saw the last Billy Idol show on Saturday at the House Of Blues! Damn, Steve Stevens RULES!!!

So on Saturday I woke up at 2 pm in the afternoon. "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" right?

So with my nasty hangover I put on my "Hemispheres" shirt and headed out for bloody mary's and a burger.

I looked in my wallet and realized I had a 100 voucher from the Hard Rock.

So I had to go back there and cash it in.

So instead of cabbing in I walked from Mandalay Bay to the Hard Rock. I very nice walk indeed.

When I got there I decided to visit the gift store.

When I walked in a dude who worked there said, "hey man nice Rush shirt. We have a rare Rush ticket up by the register."

So I looked at this ticket. PSA graded.

The ticket was from the 1975 tour.

KISS

JAMES GANG

WITH RUSH!

It was incredible.

So of course I had to ensnare it.

Funny thing to note. I am seeing Joe Walsh tonight along with Bad Company!!! I can't wait. But see the connection?

I always thought it was just KISS and RUSH. Never really knew a third act was with them. James Gang? What an incredible triple bill!!!!

So I was going back to my room to drop the ticket off and in the lobby I met these four hot women. They wanted me to take their picture.

As we were talking the all liked my Rush shirt hence they were all from Canada.

So we all got in the elevator together.

I opened up my bag to show them the ticket. They were impressed.

Then all of the sudden some old dude taps me on the back of the shoulder.

He says, "I went to that tour."

I was blown away.

What are the odds?

My odds were very good kids.

I even came home up 500 bucks!

Also on Saturday night at the Hard Rock a lot of musicians showed up at the Center Bar. Scott Ian was there as DJ. Playing some killer tunes!

Eddie Trunk was there. I met him guys. I talked to him for a few minutes about rock and roll. I personally think Eddie on hell of a Rock And Roll Poser. I asked him some questions about bands and he had no clue how to answer them.

Then my highlight was meeting MIKKEY DEE!!!! Mickkey is with the Scorpions right now! It was so fuckking cool! Even Scott Ian got on the mic and said, "It's Mikkey Dee everyone! The greatest drummer the Scorpions have ever had!!"

I was like "DUH!" Mikkey ripped it up in the Scorps.

So I talked to Mikkey for a second and I gave him a hug!!! LOL! Totally cool dude!!

Then I met Michael Wilton and Eddie Jackson from Queensryche! Both were very cool.

You know I've never realized how short these rockers are.

Alex Skolnick was also hanging out with everyone!! It was a METAL FEST!!!!!!

Traveling alone is FUN!!!

RUSH ON!

PS: Gina is going to post a picture of the ticket later.

I have to run.............

Awesome story! But what makes me sad is that for that ticket to exist in such pristine condition, it likely means that someone skipped out on a legendary show.....

I've seen a few of these myself. Makes you wonder. It's possible they scheduled the concert too close to final exams

..

Of course the market is flooded with those 4/15/81 tickets. not sure what the answer is for those.
