I have heard somewhere to be honest that Red Barchetta is a love song, and that the barchetta is just another word for sex. I think Neil is talking about it on the Exit.. Stage Left video.

Well, that's not exactly what he said. I just watched it...Peart says, "...it's a metaphor for sexuality and freedom."

I can't say that what Peart says equates to Red Barchetta being (as you said) "another word for sex"

"The Speed of Love" strikes me as appropriate for this thread, too :)

Yup.  Forgot that one.  A more poppy song, more in line with yer typical luv song?

I understand it makes excellent mood music for declaring one's love to a special someone for the first time

Wink wink nudge nudge. Aye, aye??

A nods as good as a wink to a blind bat!!

Now now, DD...I thought I made it perfectly clear that we're just good friends :P

I believe one member here walked down the aisle with his bride to The Sphere.

It's not really a love song per se, but a Rush song that I think has some of the most beautiful lyrics born of real emotional pain and suffering healed by love is Secret Touch.

First you have to complete the challenge of finding a woman that's into Rush. They're a rare breed.

For the question at hand, I think it would be entertaining to watch someone try to dance to the beginning of TSOR. It would resemble a couple with seizure disorders.

Cold Fire is another song about love and relationships. I think it's horribly underrated.
I love Cold Fire....
