Boof
This version of The Sound of Silence appeared on my Facebook newsfeed and is, IMO, quite beautifully done. However, I then sought the original and came across this one complete with lyrics. To my astonishment I discovered that, according to Paul Simon, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls". Clearly this must have influenced Neil's writing of TSoR - my astonishment is more aimed at myself for not having noticed it before. Are there any other Rush lyrics (or mere snippets thereof) that will have me facepalming myself and thinking "Duhhh...of COURSE!!"?
Ancient Ways
Tons of Neil's song titles and lyrics are either quoted directly from literature or heavily influenced by it.

Lucas
I don't remember how the official Spirit Of Radio lyrics read, but I always thought the line could read: "For the words of the profits were written on the studio wall"
Lucas
"Net boy, net girl, send your signal 'round the world" is a cop of "Jet Boy, Jet Girl" made famous by The Damned

All things considered, that homage to the Simon/garfunkel tune is Neil's best writing IMO.
