Remember those crazy days when I thought Europe could get to 19? Oh, was I ever so young :eh:

Morikawa, with a perfect 5-iron on hole 17, sets up a three-foot birdie to seal the Ryder Cup win.
Koepka follows with an even better shot for a near ace!  His birdie is given to extend US points to 15 and a half.
Thomas with a perfect pitch gets the win 4 & 3 to get the US to 16.5 pts.

Sure enough.  The US gets to 19 points.

Steve Stricker may have set the new template for how to captain a US Ryder Cup team. With DJ being the oldest player at 37, Stricker's "let them do their thing" handling of a young team was just right.

Bigger problem for Europe will be if you`ve found a permanent fix to the team spirit thing. The giant-killing that is a European win is only possible when your guys are being the archetypal selfish golfer. We need more players to play on the PGA tour all the time to raise the standard and get used to real crowds, and whilst they`re there, try and get your players to hate each other too. Thankfully, we`ll have a massively different team in Italy, without players as old as me.

Bryson vs Koepka in "the match" on November 26th.

Look for fisticuffs between Morikawa and Schaueffle at the first tee in Hawaii this January.

Honestly, I'd rather re-watch Shell's World of Golf Snead vs. Nicholas at Pebble Beach on YouTube.
