I had started to develop a habit of not having my clubhead flat on the ground. My instructor helped me to fix it but I feel like it looks like DeChambeau. My arms are definitely straighter. I can't complain with the results though. While I'm still working on getting distance back up I haven't shanked an iron in a long time.

Peter Alliss has passed away. :rose: He's the first British commentator I can remember.

Awww. :rose:

Also, he's the origin of "Nice putt, Aliss!" (Often erroneously thought of as "Alice")

Schaueffle almost holes out but Koepka holds on.

The shots of Koepka sitting and texting were funny. Not exactly sweating it out.

The human drama of athletic competition....

Goddammit. I was watching the HBO documentary Tiger yesterday and heard him in an interview about his chances of making the Masters after his back surgery, which seems very insignificant now.

During the tournament Sunday, he didn't sound too optmistic about playing. Now that's obviously gone. You just have to hope with his back in a weajened state that paralysis doesn't come into.play...the injuries were said not to be life threatening.

He`s had quite enough of rehab over the last decade and beaten absurd odds before, but this time I hope he`s at the very least he`ll be able to move freely for the rest of his life. I have no idea who I want to win majors when Tiger`s not in the field. Guess I`ll have to dust my own clubs off, try and get my game back, or Golf will be dead to me...

He's done. I know he's considered superhuman by many. But he's 45. This and the back too? He's got a long recovery ahead of him.

As a 45 year-old that stopped playing Golf due to a back problem (honestly!), I resent this post :tsk: :P

He may just have had better access to specialists. NHS isn`t quite the same! :sigh:

Pretty awesome at the British Masters yesterday, where Richard Bland won after 478 starts without doing so on the European tour.

Eesh, a yale of two nines for Mickleson today. Phil drove the ball well all day and was tied early for the lead at -3, but missed putt after putt in a string of holes, making three bogies and sliding backward out of the lead. A late birdie charge (five of the final eight holes) got Phil a few strokes back to help him finish at -5, good enough for second.

It's nice to see him competitive! We'll see what today holds. Lots of movement late yesterday, pretty bunched up leaderboard -- could be exciting! C'mon, wind!

I hope Phil can stay in contention today. I can`t count the number of times Freddy Couples led the Masters early as he got older. Phil`s looking sleek and that improvement in his fitness could give him the edge his game has missed in recent years.
