I can't believe that in the cradle of golf they haven't taken the Fox crew's advice and booed Phil off the course.

The Fox crew gives good advice?

I must have missed the memo on that one. :laughing guy:

Did you see that drive by Spieth on #1? 380 to 15 feet, which he made for eagle. Not a bad start.

And it's great to see Tiger have a good round. He just stuffed that 9-iron on #10.

And has an eagle putt on 11

Just one back on moving day.

Although I don't think the leader will be minus 6 at days end. My guess is either 9 or 10 will be the number, and that's probably conservative.

Yep. Spieth in at -9, with a bogey-free 65. Schauffele, Kisner tied at -9 as well right now, but they've a few holes to play.

And the last three are bitches. And the wind is starting to pick up. Looks like nine is the number.

A great drive by Kisner gets him inside of 150yds on #18. Tailwind takes his wedge past the pin and off the back of the green, leaving a tough up and down.

Johnson made the better play, hitting iron off the tee and coming in from 200yds.

Now wait a minute. You took Fredo in because the Corleone Family bankrolled your casino, and because Francesco Molinari on the coast guaranteed his safety. Now, we're talking business.....let's talk business.

Congrats to Andrew Putnam on his first tour win at Reno's Barracuda Tournament!

Andrew Putnam treated the week as a vacation, staying in Incline Village on the shores of Lake Tahoe and playing golf in Reno. But it is Nevada and there are jackpots and he cashed in a big one on Sunday. Putnam, 29, won the Barracuda Championship at Montreux Golf and Country Club in Reno, his first PGA Tour victory and worth $612,000 and a two-year exemption. “I don’t know if you ever expect a win coming off a season on the Web.com Tour,” he said. “You’re just trying to keep your card. But I’ve been playing really good the last couple months, and I felt I was one of the favorites coming into this tournament. I felt like if I played my game I had a chance.” :ebert:

Tiger playing well.

If he could just putt 80% as well as he once did...

That 3 putt on 17 was a killer

Indeed. All The pars in a row were fine because everyone has trouble with the back nine. I was thinking the whole time, just birdie 17, par 18 and finish at 9 and its all good. It's only one shot but it seems like more....

Tiger on the move! The game just caught my interest when husband told me he and Adam Scott are only 1 stroke behind Koepka. Should be an interesting finish!

Koepka is laying down the Law right now. I think he's got it.

Kopeka sets the scoring record at -16, two strokes ahead of Tiger. And I missed it... :(

Gary Parrish had a funny tweet...

Brooks Koepka is selfish. He’s only thinking about himself and not worrying at all about the rest of us wanting this to remain interesting for as long as possible.

3:23 PM - Aug 12, 2018

On #16, Koepka nails a 248yd shot to six feet.

It was really not-so-great to visit The Golf Channel's website this morning. The headline and main photo were - yes, you guessed it - Tiger Woods and the "Tiger Tracker".

Woods is currently tied for 72nd .....

So? Woods still commands the attention and brings in the fans and ratings. Money matters to TV networks.

Makes me sick. There’s a whole lot of good golf happening that he has nothing to do with.

I’m volunteering there. Lots of fun.
