rushgoober
Ok, here's the latest in my continuing series of albums that I love that no one's ever heard of and barely comments on. Well, this is King Crimson, maybe I'll have better luck. Anyway, this to me is a PHENOMENAL album, and while I can think of a few 70's prog albums I like as much, there are NONE that I like better. Lizard is an amazingly complex album with truly phenomenal musicianship that just blows me away every time I listen. It has a LOT of jazz for being a prog rock album, beautiful, surreal, poetic lyrics and even features Jon Anderson singing on the mindblowing 23-minute Lizard on side two. If only more albums were this complex and exciting! Anyone familiar with this album? It seems that like Yes's Tales from Topographic Oceans, it's one of those albums that you either passionately love or think is just way too over the top. Anyone? Oberon
I have it but only listened to side one... in fact, I'm going to try the whole album tonight, I think.
