There's only one way to make Presto sound better (because of the production) and it's very simple

I think they should go back in studio and re-record every album from signals until, like, test for echo. Like just play and mix from scratch. Improve the arrangement on some of the more boring songs while they're at it. And magic Geddy's voice back to the state it was in 1982.

...I can dream.

Play Hemispheres at the same time, only much louder?

Or The Garden on a loop...

Clearly you are trying to lose my support.

That's just an added bonus.

Goose seems to think that an argument can be made for the songs on Hemispheres sounding the same, but not on Presto.

I agree with him.

What say you?

I say Goose enjoys being a contrarian a bit too much.

My only problem with Presto is that you can't hear the bass!

Maybe it's because he was doing that flicky flamenco thing so he wasn't playing as hard but there's some cool bass lines on Presto if you can find them!

It's because the amps they were using were transistor radios.

Its a little too treblely and the mid ranges are out of whack..Very suprised as it is a product of LeStudio.

Done on the new SSL. Some of the best recording equipment, engineers and natural acoustic rooms in the world at the time ..

It wasn't the studio or the equipment, it was Rupert.

Don't you? Read your first post. It's obviously not the equipment!

It's not a bad album, it's just that tinny sound on every song that gets to me.

This post's strong finish can't quite overcome the weak start.
