Don't get me wrong, I like The Darkness, but if we're talking about newer bands that play straight-forward 80s ish hard rock, these guys will kick their behind ..

NO!  Goofy beyond bearing.

Agree.  Don't for one moment get the admiration for this outfit.

Have only heard the first album and loved that "Old School" sound.

"Growing on me" is a great song

Kiss have good songs and can actually sing. And Ace Frehley is worth ten of whoever is playing their solos.

No arguments here

Space Ace is a Guitar God, probably the only one that came from another planet

If you can't appreciate this, you've probably got too much estrogen in your water supply

New The Darkness album is out today. Here´s the single:

Something tells me this new song isn´t gonna change anyone´s opinion about this band.

Heard their interview with John Fugelsang on his Tell Me Everything program recently.  Heard a funny description of their sound as either “a straight Queen or a gay AC/DC.”

One thing I don't get is the title "One Way Ticket To Hell And Back". If it's one way only, how does he... uh... I mean, y'know...
