New Bands You Listen To

I keep hearing that "rock is dead" and that's only true if you're stuck in the past. With great acts from the 70's/80's dropping off year after year, something else needs to fill the gap. What are some rock/metal bands you listen to that were formed past the year 2000? Only rule is they can't be a supergroup formed this millennium (The Aristocrats, Winery Dogs, Flying Colors, Storm Corrosion, Chickenfoot, etc.).

A few that I've been listening to lately

The Sword

Baroness

Ghost

Intronaut

Riverside

Sólstafir

Steel Panther

Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats

Animals As Leaders

Gary Clark Jr

Mastodon

Red Fang

Truckfighters

Royal Thunder

Stoned Jesus

Segue, the solution 45 is a band with christian the ex vocalist of scar. They have 2 albums out and the first one is a masterpiece. If not already aware i highly rec it

Thread asks for new bands you listen to...

Mentions two bands who have been together for over a decade whose band members are all in their 40s

The OP said 2000 onwards!

But yeah I did realise I was scraping the barrel with nearly all my choices haha

Haha...and I don't count Alter Bridge as a supergroup.

A fully fledged band in their own right, so stuff the Creed comparison!
