You mean the tv show? Never watch it. :)

There's a tv show called The Voice?

I think the Moody Blues did a song with that name.

Yes, that was (is) an excellent song. They are one of those bands I appreciated more as I got older.

Didn't they label some singer from yesteryear The Voice?

I have heard that nickname for Steve Perry.

According to Wikipedia...

"The Voice" is an informal nickname used for multiple singers, actors, and announcers, including:

Whitney Houston

Mariah Carey

Frank Sinatra

Vern Gosdin

Paul Rodgers

Steve Perry

Sandi Patty

Lenny Zakatek

Alan Rickman

Tom Jones (referred to as such by Elvis Presley)

Roger Huston (harness race caller)

Do you like their older or new stuff better?

I like that song too.

Probably older, although even their newer music was pretty good.

Mike Pinder made their music. When he left, it was evident in their sound. I like the older albums much better, but they had some good songs later too. If you haven't already seen it, their concert at Red Rocks in the early nineties was probably their best.
