Geddy on bass and keys

Two things:

1. He played bass and used foot pedals.

2. It's a recording, he didn't do it all in one take. Bass on one track, keys on the other. You can see it on ASOH, for example in Lock and Key there were lots of parts where there were both bass and keys, and he would opt to play keys in the live performance.

I've also heard that Paul McCartney played drums on Back in the USSR. How did he manage that while playing bass???????? There's no logical explanation!!!!! ;)
