Another one of the interviews done to accompany R40 Live; this one with Geddy.  Interesting story about coming up with the tour theme; and he talks about their surround sound releases and music streaming services.  (thanks, RIAB.)

Interviewer: Steven Wilson has expressed interest to me personally about wanting to remix Rush albums in 5.1 himself.

Lee: That’s fantastic! Yeah, we’d love to get him to do that for us.

I thought it was interesting that Geddy was apparently the one that came up with the "devolution" idea for the tour, as he calls it.  I don't know that much about the surround sound mixes. Although I'm a bit of an audiophile, I'm afraid I would fall into his category of people that like to listen in the car!  :D  :D

Nothing wrong with that!  :)  I love to listen in the car. It's where I hear most of my music nowadays.

It's interesting they rearranged some old songs to fit new technology. That's quite a work!
I'm speechless about how Jacob's Ladder sounds live.

If past history is any indicator. He wouldn't do all of them.

They're all good. Even Test For Echo and Feedback. But I'm not holding my breath that he would do those.
