A little while back I did "The Prog Era vs The Synth Era", but thanks to some comments realized it wasn't very fair considering the prog albums heavily outnumbered the synth ones. This time I'm going 4v4. Which group do you like the best? Edited by AnEggplant

Good grief. Easy one... :codger:

Yes, this was an easy one

The only 4 album span that would cause me to pause and think would be The Debut, Fly By Night, Caress Of Steel and 2112 vs A Farewell to Kings, Hemispheres, Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures

I would really need to give that one some time

Hey Egg, how about a 3 vs 3 vs 3 poll ??

Debut, Fly By Night, Caress Of Steel

2112, A Farewell To Kings, Hemispheres

Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, Signals

That would be interesting, I think group one would be demolished but it'd be close between the second two.

It makes more sense to group by Sectors. 4 studio albums topped by one live one. You are wrong if you disagree.

;)

That would be even more of an unfair fight... :)

I consider MP a slight intro to the synth era........not really but there are textures there.

i still would have included it there.

not a popular thing.......but i've always viewed it that way.

Mick

Interesting, did you vote for the synth albums?

The synth era was when I became a fan but it was the pre synth era and the radio staples that got me there

Freewill

Spirit

Sawyee

Subdivisions

CTTE

Lmelight
