Thanks Earl. Angel rules! Punky was killer!

What's the story with Zappa and Bozzio?

I totally agree with you! However there is a Zappa song called "Punky's Whips." It's a song that rips Punky apart in a very sexual way! I put the video on here a few months ago. I trying to do it again but my stupid computer at work won't let me copy and paste. Go on Youtube and check it out. Terry sings on the song. It's a live video. Hunt it down man and watch it if you dare!

I'm playing worlds Apart now.

Maybe one of THE records of the 80's for me.

it's right up there with any classic for me.

Mick

I really like it but it is missing a little something.saying that it has really grown on me more and more so maybe Saga are another music obsession in the making!

I get a strong Rush meets pop-Toto meets Duran Duran vibe!

(And it wipes eighties Yes pop-loving ass off the board)

That's funny! I'm listening to "Worlds Apart" Revisited! A double cd and video concert where they play "Worlds Apart" all the way through!

Get the first three albums!! "Worlds Apart" was their first commercial album released by CBS. Go back in their catalog and start from the beginning!

Spotify has Revisited, not the actual album.

Saga and Spotify obviously have issues haha

The only time I saw Saga was when they opened for Tull, maybe 10 or 15 years ago. I thought Sadler was pretty cheesy in his vinyl red suit unzipped to his navel, but they put on a pretty solid show. The drummer still had the old white hexagonal (?) electronic drums. I remember seeing a concert on TV when I was a teen and was pretty impressed with the guitar player - he plays some interesting stuff. I bought a bunch of their albums, but the only one I kept was In Transit. Edited by toymaker

Wow!! I just said in my mind that you just made a bold statement. You said bold claim! LOL! I get it really. I just lost interest in the late Eighties because they really went pop. CBS dropped them from their label because they weren't selling records anymore.

Wow! I really dig Sadler. a vinyl red suit unzipped to his navel? That is pure cheese! Well at least you saw them. I'm surprised you dumped Saga's first three studio albums. I love them dearly.

Yeah, I don't think they were heavy enough for me at the time, or something. I know they're a keyboard driven band, so that was part of it. I'm listening to Images at Twilight on YouTube right now; it's all coming back . . .

I also lost interest in the late Eighties, but I saw them again in a small gym a few years ago and that show got me fired up again.

Some years ago I had a thread going here about the 20/20 album. Not much interest back then, but I think it's a pretty solid album.

My first exposure to them was the Worlds Apart Live dvd. I've watched this probably about 5 times all the way thru since I discovered it earlier this year. Captivating.

Hahahahahaha!! You guys are killing me today! I just got back from Target and picked up the fist six Star Wars movies in steelbook format! SWEET! Mark Hamil Rules! I love him in the movie "Corvette Summer." I wish they would put it out on Blu-ray!
