I do give them credit for showing heart.

Sure you do.

How exactly is that measured?

Here's an example. In 2004 the Red Sox were down to the Yankees 3-0 in the ALCS. They were down 4-3 to the Yankees in the ninth inning of game 4, facing maybe the best closer ever. They won the series.

Here's another. The Red Sox trailed the Indians 3-1 in the 2007 ALCS. They won the series.

One more. In 2013, the Red Sox trailed the Tigers 5-1 in game 2 of the ALCS. Entering the 8th inning, they had scored one run in 16 innings. David Ortiz hit a grand slam in the 8th and the Sox won the game 6-5. They won the series.

So heart is measured in Ortiz's syringe?

No. In the syringe they used to anesthetize Schilling's ankle before game 6 at Yankee Stadium.

I'm cheering for the Jays, BUT, David Price has to show up game 6 and pitch like he does regular season. Career wise his playoff pitching is mediocre, and it's time for him to break that bad streak and show us the elite pitcher he is.

Go Jays. :cheerleader:

I can imagine. There must be a lot of people that think that the rules don't apply to them. It's gotta be a surprise that, for a lot of them, that's not really true.

Jays have much to work on with their rotation. Free agents and guys pushing 40.

On the bright side, none of their starting pitchers are obese alcoholics.

Great year!! Kansas City was the better team in the end. But a good part of our roster is staying put next year. Sign Estrada. Don't over-pay Price! Keep Bautista! Get some more pitching. KEEP ANTHOPOULOUS!!!!!

Toronto Blue Jays in 1 st place in the ALE.. This team rocks.. stay tuned.....

They struck gold with getting JA Happ for their pitching staff in a trade with Pittsburgh last summer. He has gone 17- 3 for the Jays, while the Pirates have struggled with their pitchers all year . . .
