Fridge
Myself and my good friend Dave on guitar and vox have been writing some toons under the above moniker we hope to take it live sometime soon......they are pretty raw, which is sort of intentional. Anyway, constructive feedback more than welcome https://soundcloud.com/the-ghetto-poets
Prime Mover and Shaker
Cool - I really like how "For a Friend" starts with that awesome chord progression. Lots of great energy in this song. Cool stuff in the middle there - but it might be cool to bring in the start of the lead at 3:11 to break it up a bit. Double kick at 4:00 is VERY nice! stoopid
I liked Dead Secure. The pitchiness of the vocals should be worked on, maybe autotune the recordings and then sing along/practice to them?
Fridge
Cheers for the feedback...yeah, we are going to redo the vox....Dave hasn't been very well, and it showed in the recording...hopefully will post them redone in the fullness of time. JARG
Good stuff. I hear some Ray Davies in Dave's singing.
JARG
And even a touch of Roger Waters.
JARG
Dave's vocals need a little tightening up, timing-wise, in parts of Bellevue, and speaking of Bellevue, the guitar pattern that comes in at 3:08 makes me want to Run To You. ;)
JARG
One Last Shot has a great intro and a cool wah solo. Edited November 11, 2015 by JARG
Verena
First of all, the band name is interesting. It's very connected to the lyrics and atmosphere created into the songs. Cheers for the feedback...yeah, we are going to redo the vox....Dave hasn't been very well, and it showed in the recording...hopefully will post them redone in the fullness of time. Ok, then. :) I like One Last Shot, TV Nation, Dead Secure and For a Friend mostly. Edited November 28, 2015 by rhyv
