x1yyz
I've read it and loved it. Yes, Rush is a big factor in the plotline. But the whole book centers around an 80s nostalgia theme, so those of us who came of age during that time can especially relate. It's a lot of fun to read.
Super25Smasher
Great book! I loved the Rush involvement. Ernest Cline's recently released Armada (which I'm reading now) mentions Rush and other bands of the sort.

LedRush
Spielberg to direct Ready Player One 3 hours ago - 4:00 AM on 10.14.2015 // Vikki Blake 35 @_vixxhttp://www.destructoid.com//ul/315389-7a0564ee1195f214fda828417517f23b.jpgExpected to release December 2017 Steven Spielberg will be directing Ready Player One, a movie based upon the novel of the same name. The sci-fi film is expected to release on December 15, 2017. The story contains references to a butt-tonne of Spielberg own films, including Indiana Jones, The Goonies, and Back to the Future, but although he says it's "very trippy" to be making a film about his films, he's "not making this movie to remind people of my ‘80s movies. I may leave most of them out!” Spielberg describes the book itself as "crystal ball into exactly what is going to be happening not in 30 or 40 years, but in between five and ten years from now, where a virtual world becomes almost like a drug of choice and where we are spending more time in a nonorganic space than we are breathing and eating and interacting in real life". “This movie is going to show why it’s interesting not living in the real world but what we’re missing by not,” Spielberg adds. “It’s a cautionary tale but it’s also a big rockin’ adventure movie, too.”I'd end on a joke but just look at that cover picture, you guys. BE STILL MAH HEART.
