Another thing, and I should edit my OP. That is, the CD cover.

http://smarturl.it/R40LIVE3CD

As depicted on amazon, it's the rectangle DVD cover slapped onto a CD square. If this is the actual CD cover, there was no effort into making the CD cover uniform, so to speak. Very un-Hugh-like, IMO.

Edited to add, I actually posted the CD cover in my OP, so its awkwardness is on display here.

I am 100% sure that isn't the CD cover. I have no proof of this, but I'm willing to bet money. I'm sure it will just be a cropped version of the DVD cover, like CA Live, but there is no way that image is the final design.

I hope you're right, because if that's the actual CD cover with the bare left/right borders, it screams "we didn't care about the CD cover".

The bass drums and mirror ball look egg shaped and Geddy has got some wide hips!

Haha yeah, it's clearly just the same image squished, but I'm certain they'll just chop off some of the top and bottom.

It looks like whoever designed that cover also designed the last batch of t shirts.  Loud and gaudy and not a very good graphic designer.

I love how this artwork seems to tell a story.

Al and Ged: "PARTY!!!!!!!!!!"

Neil: "F**k this shit."

I think people are going to look at that cover and say "is Rush a nostalgia band? I thought they broke up back in the 80's. That singer sure sounded like a girl."

The artwork looks more like a bootleg cover than the real deal.

I sorta love it for that!

Most bootlegs are better designed than this.

I don't really like it. It looks too amateurish for Rush. I'm fact, the font is probably what I like best about it...

The only thing I know is that it's the best face Geddy has ever made on an album cover before
