Oh a bashing thread...........Neil seems like the kinda guy i'd want to run over.

Mick

With a tank, and an entire fat camp therapy session going on within.

On a concrete surface.

Nah...we use the digipaks to inflict papercuts.

Attached to the tanks tires are overripe lemons.

You guys...It's dangerously close to release, and I think this might actually be the real cover for the CD, border and all.

This is what's showing on iTunes too, which generally has their shit together.

If this is true, I might be able to say without hesitation that it's the laziest CD cover I've ever seen in my life. Maybe not the worst, per se, but in terms of effort made, possibly the laziest.

Yeah, I saw that too. My only worry is that's clearly just a squished version of the DVD image, it isn't cropped or altered like it should be. The disco ball is an egg, haha.

So the only two examples we currently have are both incredibly half assed.

It's at an angle and you can see the ball is higher up in the image

My opinion is that the font is smaller on the CD than the dvd so it all fits the 4.75 x 4.75 CD square, but it's the same exact image (perhaps sized down a little, not squished). The ball looks proportionally the same size on both. I thought this got covered earlier in this brilliant thread. :)

The ball is pushed further up.

We'll disagree then. I think the only material difference is the font size of "RUSH" and "R40 Live". We'll see who wins on Friday. :D
