One of Tick's special abilities is can become a ghost at will. He uses this talent to disrupt celebrity interviews which he has been protesting against since 1989.

In this interview Tick appears as an eye drawn on David Blaine's hand:

Was he a supporter of celebrity interviews before 1989?  Why the flip flopping?  When is he going to come clean about this flip flopping?

Does this mean even when we don't see him logged in, he's still here hovering about?

He was an avid chat show freak, he couldn't get enough of it! Day after day for years he used to lap it up. Then one day Letterman used the popular phrase "Ticks me off" once too often and he just went apeshit and staged a one man protest in his local shopping mall for 5 weeks and 3 days. He had placards with slogans like: "The Tonight Show is an abomination", "Leno is the Stand-in of the Devil" and so on.

Well I don't know if this means anything to you but let's just say he was known as Richard "Shipwreck" Tickmeister for a while there.
