I never heard the expression "L-7" in my life. Was it old jazz musician lingo or beatnik talk?

There was a band in the 90s called "L-7" but I think I heard this on the Flintstones!

I hadn't seen this one before! Interesting! It's no "I Put A Spell On You", though!

This is a fun one:

Freaky riff, and very, uh, committed delivery! :P

Strangely catchy, as well!! Now I have that riff going through my head . . :)

A fun little doo-wop tune from "The Diamonds", a group from Toronto I think.

I like how it modulates all over the place, and that you can hear the bass barely get in there at 1:34. :)

Amazing that the vocals were all done around one microphone, and that the singers had to balance their sound themselves. Very cool!

This is brilliant! :D

Going waaaay back with this one. I thought there was a Bert Kaempfert version, but this will have to do:

Love that weird, leathery, pick-y bass sound. Don't quite love the pointless piano.

How would Earl Grant do it? With one broken key apparently.

Outtasight!

English horn or oboe? Who cares! They both sound exquisite!
