I saw a few episodes here and there when it was airing, but for some reason I never committed to watching a whole bunch of it. That is what Netflix is for, right? And even before Moulder and Scully were replaced, some episodes were kind of silly...but again that was in the latter part of the run. The first few years were really suspenseful and fun. The last couple of seasons were kind of messed up because David Duchovny had a contract dispute with the network and so he wasn't in the last two seasons very much at all. They're bringing back original writers and a lot of the original characters, including Skinner and the Cigarette Smoking Man. I think I watched at least 2 or 3 episodes when I started re-watching back in March. Still took me like 3 months. There are over 200 episodes. I can't remember which season I started losing interest but it might've been around season 4 or 5 or whenever they started doing more and more of the conspiracy stories.
