Mom's looks good. I have never had it.
The recipe I used was actually given to me by my own mother that I found in my recipe box.
I am about to cut myself a piece to see how it tuned out. From the taste of the batter, I am not expecting much, but we shall see.
Edit: It's not bad, but I don't think I would go through the trouble of making it again.
