Union 5-3992
No matter what, you still wouldn't be seeing Rush. I have no idea how some of you would be down for that
stone and a hard place
Seeing Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson playing live with an unknown drummer. It wouldn't be Rush--but it might be pretty cool.

Maverick
Maybe a new drummer would smile and talk to the fans.

Even Rash would be okay
The Analog Cub
I would happily go see Alex and Geddy. But no, I wouldn't be seeing Rush. That ain't Rush.

EagleMoon
Sure I would go see them. I seriously doubt they would market it as Rush anyway.
GabesCavesOfIce
Funny how The New Guy gets to steal the name Rush. Yes I would absolutely go see Leefson. No way the new project could be called Rush. Back to their roots perhaps. Miss ya Neil, it was an amazing ride, but there is some more rock to be rolled! .
J2112YYZ
If Geddy and Alex decided to start a new band with a different drummer and made an all instrumental album, I would certainly go see them. But if they flat out replaced Neil and still called it Rush, there's no way I would.

Detonator
I'd go to see them. But they shouldn't call it Rush. Led Zep at least had an excuse. Bonham is dead.

Was watching some of the Laura Secord show right before the forum gig. Funny how Rutsy was emceeing the show, leading the band, and he was shown the door shortly thereafter. Outside of that, THE DEBUT FREAKIN ROCKS! Paging Narps, Mr. Narps, are you there?

J2112YYZ
Nope. There is no Rush without Neil.Agreed. It's why I don't own the debut album. The debut album was just Geddy and Alex practicing. They were getting their chops up to par so they were ready for Neil to join and push them both to greater heights musically.

Alien Girl
Nope. There is no Rush without Neil.Agreed. It's why I don't own the debut album. Hey their debut is pretty good and very underrated The debut album is every bit as much a part of Rush as any of the rest of the discography. Denying that is denying their roots and very short sighted. There's a reason they play Working Man on pretty much every tour. The debut album is excellent in it's source material. Listen to it...Geddy's vocals and bass, Alex's guitar...Their signature sound is there, even if in it's infancy. Songs like Here Again that are simply sublime. I'm not saying Neil is not an integral part of Rush or what they became. But Geddy and Alex were Rush before he came along and I would gladly go see them in concert again even w/out Neil.

The entire vibe of the band changed. I don't slam the debut. It's a good record. It's no FBN.
