BloodofTheZodiac
There were many cool details that have been pointed out about the lights and screens during this tour, but one I never saw mentioned was during 'The Spirit of Radio' where the big screen looked like the ceiling of Radio City Music Hall during a lot of the first half of the song. Does anyone else think that was the intention? Edited August 3, 2015 by BloodofTheZodiac

JBsDWdrums
Absolutely....noticed that too...went back after my show and checked RC pics....definitely....I think that was the backdrop for Xanadu as well...
DistantEarlySignals
And during Xanadu and 2112, the stage setup looked just like the Paramount Theater in Austin, TX, a place where they played on the Farewell to Kings and All The World's A Stage tours.
BloodofTheZodiac
I knew it looked like a theater/theatre but not any in particular. I just thought it was suppose/supposed to look like the general look of and old theater like many in North America.

TexMike
And here I thought the backdrop during TSOR was a rainbow, symbolic of how great everyone was feeling back in 1980.
schmeng
well.. i'm sure that there were electrical currents moving through the semi circles of light... so for me it was a representation of Radio Waves... after all that's what Lerxst's main riff is supposed to represent isn't it? TFEman
Not really any video thing I noticed but if you listen closely during Natural Science you can hear R2-D2 (from star wars for anyone who doesn't know that already) samples in the section right before the solo
