vitalsigns318
My band Spunjacked will be releasing their debut album in the near future...we have a few tunes up on https://www.reverbna...com/spunjacked The first one is a song that my husband/songwriting partner, David G., wrote with his friend who has passed away, Brian Boone, it is called "Nikki", the other two songs "Merlyn's Opus" was a song that I, Lori Lynn, wrote and "One Last Time" was written by David G. and Bill W. These two songs have a prog rock feel and are part of a bigger story. Hope that you enjoy them...
Perchance to Dream
Very, very dark stuff going on there. Good on ya for sharing original material. That takes stones. "One Last Time" is quite haunting.
vitalsigns318
Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate it. One Last Time and Merylin's Opus are from the middle of the concept. So they are the conflict part of our story. We do have a great revelation at the end.
JARG
The production isn't anything to write home about, but the songs aren't bad. Your husband sounds to me to be a big Bret Michaels fan.
vitalsigns318
Thanks again Jarg for the feedback. My husband is a Bret Michaels/Poison fan but not a big one, and his old songwriting partner, Brian Boone, was the biggest Bret Micheals fan on the planet. :guitar: Edited August 4, 2015 by vitalsigns318
JARG
Also, you might consider posting in EISI since that's where many of us "music project" people post. http://www.therushforum.com/index.php?/forum/62-exercises-in-self-indulgence/
