journey

As in, "I really appreciate everybody who has been with me through this journey"...

Or, "This has been such a journey"...

It just smacks of so much pretense and self-centeredness.

I think AMAZING is being overused these days.

"This has been such an amazing journey"...

Couldn't agree more when it's used like that.

The word by itself and referring to Steve Perry & the gang, I can take it.

Deadlines. RANT ON..All my jobs have been in the private sector. Most deadlines are dates executives pull out of their hat. There's no need for these other than government type deadlines. The people who do the work are stressed out, give up precious family time working extra just to keep their jobs.. And what for? So the monthly profits can be reported earlier?? JMO. RANT OFF.

cannot stand this made up word.

I've never seen or heard that before. Can you use it in a sentence, to give me some context?

(Or is that asking too much?). :P
