Blue J
journey As in, "I really appreciate everybody who has been with me through this journey"... Or, "This has been such a journey"... It just smacks of so much pretense and self-centeredness.
Blue J
I think AMAZING is being overused these days. "This has been such an amazing journey"... :eyeroll: :eyeroll: :eyeroll:
JohnnyBlaze
moist...this word should never be used unless you are talking about chocolate cake. That is it's only acceptable use. But that's the name of the new Rush album! RushCanuck
Deadlines. RANT ON..All my jobs have been in the private sector. Most deadlines are dates executives pull out of their hat. There's no need for these other than government type deadlines. The people who do the work are stressed out, give up precious family time working extra just to keep their jobs.. And what for? So the monthly profits can be reported earlier?? JMO. RANT OFF.

Lorraine
That reminds me - the word "butt" is starting to get on my nerves too. It's not so much the word, but how it's spelled. Those two t's at the end annoy me for some reason.
