But the songs on the album he did needed some serous trimming, producing and quality checking. Who let Eddie song that last horrible song???? I think it comes down to Roth and Hagar standing toe to toe with Eddie when the music is being arranged. Let's face it, Roth and Hagar wrote better melodies and I think that "restricted" Eddie's music into better arrangements. Stuff the fanboys and their biased opinion, the reality is that one man can sing, the other can't. Hagar Halen would be absolutely jaw dropping right now, with the band on fire ATM! Current vocal limitations aside, David Lee Roth added wit and a sense of humor to Van Halen that truly separated them from their contemporaries.
