I've been giving VT a good spin recently and I do think there is some good overlooked songs despite some mediocre stuff.

 

 

It's also interesting that they are playing How It Is on R40 which I consider to be one of the worst tracks from that album.

 

How It Is is one of the underrated songs that you underrate.

I finally voted, and I voted for Ghost Rider. Really, I think anyone's favorite song on this album is underrated because as soon as anyone mentions VT, it never gets a fighting chance.

The album sound is very condensed. I don't know the correct terminology for what I am trying to say. It's like it was recorded in a two by four room. The sound isn't full and open. Don't know if that makes sense.

 

The technical term you are looking for is compressed.

Not nearly as underrated as Nocturne or even The Stars Look Down.

 

The vocals & lyrics on How It Is annoy the hell out of me for some reason.

VT is now top two, alongside HYF.

 

AFTK and MP are relegated to equal second.

 

All of VT is underrated.

I say Out of the Cradle. Endlessly rocking! It's not quite as good as OLV or Earthshine, but still a nice listen in my opinion.

The only albums I ever give 10/10 are albums where every song is a 10 and the collective experience flows naturally from song to song.

 

VT is one of only four albums that gets a 10. Every song is one of my favourites, I have no way of telling you which song I love the most. The other three are AFTK, HYF and MP.
