Ok so...

Here at the home of the 1989 World Champion Oakland Athletics, a loop of Malignant Narcisism is played during the announcements of the home teams starting lineup, which is really cool. Also in another sequence they use a loop of the good parts of an unreleased Genesis song called Do the Neurotic. Someone in that squad is a Proghead!!

I always thought it would be cool to hear a pitcher come out to One Little Victory. Its a total sports anthem...where is everyone??

My walk up music would be the opening riff to Far Cry. Great beat, heavy chords, it'll get the crowd head-bangin'!

This is hilarious since I do know my Rush shit and my baseball.

Being an A's fan I have exactly four examples of Rush music that was and still is being played in Oakland California.

1. In every A's pregame show they end the show with "Limelight."

2. When Matt Stairs was an Athletic (born in Canada) he chose of course "Tom Sawyer."

3. When "S&A" came out I remember sitting in the Oakland Coliseum before first pitch and over the loud speaker they would play a loop of "Malignant Narccisccim Too lazy to spell check. Cool as fukk

4. When Jed Lowrie was an A his walk up music was "Tom Sawyer" as well.

I would pick Test For Echo as my walk-up. Chilling building intro to a rockin' song.

Not to mention how well these lyrics would resonate in a major league clubhouse...

Tough-talking hood boys in pro-team logo knock-offs

Conform to uniforms of some corporate entity

Don't change that station It's a Gangsta Nation

Appropriate for the Iowa Penitentiary College Football Team (the Hawkeyes)

Ouch. Never envisioned my Hawks as a state pen team.

Don't you know where Ferentz gets most of his players, or the general behavior of the players? :P
