Principled Man
Darryl Hamilton (1964-2015) - Beloved outfielder for the Milwaukee Brewers in the early 90's. Shot and killed by his girlfriend in a murder-suicide this past weekend. http://sports.cbsimg.net/images/visual/whatshot/GettyImages-89643493.jpg Hamilton was a really good player. Fans LOVED him. He was always smiling, having fun, and helping the team win. After retiring, he worked for MLB and did broadcasts for Brewers' radio, filling in for Bob Uecker. Darryl, you didn't deserve such a fate.....

WorkingAllTheTime
I was trying to wrap my mind around this story the other day. It had so many elements of other situations.... Phil Hartman.... Steve McNair... that kind of thing. Just odd and sad all around. Hamilton was more journeyman player than superstar, but he was a fan of the game and incredibly knowledgeable. He knew and loved baseball and, for that, I admired and appreciated him. Genuinely, this Cardinal fan will miss him.
