It's heavy and hits you like a ton of bricks...which I like.  Does it have the lasting effect of the title track, The Anarchist, or Headlong Flight?  Probably not, but I dig it.

I don't think anyone here will care a whole lot but I gotta just tune out these CA threads for now. The "Masterpiece" thing is really just to much for me. Don't even feel like discussing it anymore at this point. No hard feelings. Enjoy folks and have a good one... :hi:

Oh gee thanks, leave me to the wolves.
We'll be gentle. I just wanna understand the mind that says this song is "average" along the lines of SA material.

The album is worse than Snakes & Arrows. At least it has some intelligent lyrics and decent singing. CA is at its best juvenilistic and nescient. It was mixed so loud and the instrument frequencies so overlapping that it sounds like white noise. Does that help? :D

Boring song.
How so?

I'm not sure how to answer that other than it's kind of plodding. The lyrics are uninteresting.
I'm curious as to the lyrical component for you. Maybe ya gotta be a dude to connect with this tune

What makes you say that?  I certainly understand the sentiment. I just think it could've been done better.
Well, in what way would you have constructed the song? It sounds like nothing in their entire catalog.

You're right and that's not a good thing. I'm not going to answer your question about how I would do it because that's just opening me up to be beaten over the head. I'm not going to go there.
Is the bass to simplistic for you? The guitar too passive? Drums unadventurous? Vocals lacking passion?

That's kind of giving emotional feelings to the music but that's not what I'm talking about.  It's more technical.

Not a big fan of this one.  Sounds like the music was left over from SnA and they used new lyrics to me.

My mind is being messed with . . . sometimes I come into this thread and there are only a few posts.  Then I come in again and there are many posts.  I know now that there are two different threads with the same title.

you did that on purpose, didn't you?

The character in the context of the story is ignorant of life. The lyrics show that as well.
