Today was the kind of day I could have used about 4 of those Pales. I only had 2 though.

Locally brewed and owned! Have tried, but can't get with the IPAs, they are too hoppy for me.

Well, it's one of the places it's brewed. Also brewed right here in Tampa.

Thats what I drink when ever I am visiting Florida

In Utah i'd have to hit the liquor store to get it, with it being a whole 5% ABV...

I love this stuff, especially on tap at the Hoffbrau in Rosemont :)

I went there for my birthday. Good stuff.

That's the second funniest name I've ever seen for a beer. I had a friend that brewed what he called "Creamy Beaver Stout". :)

Great beer. Was that a Randy Travis reference?

a guy on my site always said he was going to throw back a couple of stones and I assumed it was the IPA

It was Keystone

I don't hang out with people that reach for Keystone. Wrong crowd.

8.3% is pretty stiff.

On another note, is the hoppiness war in American beer akin to the loudness war in music?

Could very well be.

8.3% is no joke. This is not a session beer by any stretch. But if you only want to drink two in a night (maybe three if you're feeling really crazy,) this one is a good choice. Nice and hoppy, but with a Belgian yeast kick.
