I don't recall if I mentioned it but Left Hand Brewery's Nitro Milk Stout has been my favorite beer going on two years now. I'm a cigar guy and it's the perfect beer pairing for a strong stick.

Took my wife out for dinner, and saw this on the beer menu... had to try it!

I'd give it 3.5 outta 5. (Extra .5 is simply for the Rush connection)

Yet another Classic Double IPA from Alpine Brewery this time with Galaxy hops - 10.5% almost zero booziness.

Wait...10.5% abv with no booziness?

Yes - it's quite amazing - You get all the citrus and mosaic notes without the obvious alcohol. I was mistaken it does not have galaxy hops -

This is an awesome beer.

Have you tried Oatsmobile yet? Another winner from Bell's.

It's a quality brewer that can make a 10+ abv brew balanced and not a one note beer.

I think a nod to Ernest Hemmingway

After many years of her drinking Miller Lite and other various versions of beer flavored water, the missus has now developed a liking for Shiner Bock. She wanted a beer to go with a botana (tortilla chips, meat, beans, chilies, etc.), so I gave her a taste of mine and actually liked it. Thank God the local TW has the stuff in 6 packs of cans. Think I'll down some now!
