Elbutre
Hello, My name is Eric (I'm new here) and I have a question for everyone who is interested: I am totally blown away by the beauty of '2112 overture'. The use of meters (or metric accents) in the first guitarpart is brilliant in my opinion. However, on the internet I found a lot of transcriptions (tabs, etc..) that are not correct (as far as I can see it). I have written an article on this piece of music: http://mijn-kijk-op....2-overture.html If anyone sees mistakes or wrong assumptions, please let me know, then I will modify it. (sorry it is in Dutch, but the transcription-part can be read be everyone) My goal is to write down the correct transcription of the guitarwork done by Alex Lifeson; I hope this will give a lot of musicians inspiration to listen to Rush. Thanks in advance (We have assumed control (3x)). Eric (the Netherlands) Edited May 20, 2015 by Elbutre
CygnusX-1Bk2
I relocated this thread to the Making Modern Music section where these kinds of things reside so that those who will appreciate it can best see it. :)
