Changing things up a bit tonight....
I hooked up my huge music room speakers to the 60 inch Samsung Smart TV
Hopefully we'll get a couple decent periscope feeds...I'm more interested in some good audio than video. I'm sending the kids to Grandma's for 4 hours. I told my girlfriend that she's more than welcome to come over...but...I will have repositioned the Lazy Boy...and can be found under a pile of shrimp tails , cheetos and beer bottles. She's okay with that...I think it's the vision of a 51 year old man, sitting in his underwear with Fanboy glazed over eyes that's concerning her most. You'd think she'd get used to it after 3 shows.

Also, does anyone know if there'll be a periscope link for tonight's show?

We generally find them right at show time.  Do far, we've had a couple people say they will.

Is this thread where I'll find one?

These set list swap out song possibilities sure add a bit more buzz to show nights...with or without periscope.

I agree.  It's a good idea and makes you wish they'd been doing that all along throughout the decades, especially after they had to start choosing what and what not to play.

I love being on a thread with so many Rush fans at the same time.  Even though I can't watch, I still love joining in with all of the excitement.

Sweet...

It's spin bike time for me, shower, and make some more popcorn and be back before show time!

Catch you Net Boys and Net Girls later then.

Aaaand x1yyz's Midwest tour now brings her to ... St. Louis!  I'm quite excited to see the band tonight!  Although, now that I'm here I realize that maybe this isn't the best place for a female traveling alone.  My hotel is only a block or so from the venue but the desk clerk told me to not walk back alone.  Now I have to figure out the safest way to get back here after the show.  Any locals care to chime in with advice?

Just blend in with the crowd when walking to your hotel.  When you say "a block or so," does the mean one or two or eight or ten?  Cause parts of St. Louis downtown can be sketchy, but the areas around tonight's venue are usually fine, especially before and after events (cause of the crowds walking to and from).

Looking at Google maps I think I'm two blocks away, on the other side of Union Station.
