  1. 1. Which of these two well established Rush classics is the best?

Subdivisions...and it's grown on me more and more over the years.

Obviously TS is greatness even if I've heard it 6 million times.

I have never really appreciated Subdivisions. Like, I wish I did but I often blame it on having been really popular at school for the remainder of my High School years, so cliques, or "Subdivisions" went right over my head...and in all honesty, school is all I can think to compare this song to. It just doesn't connect with me, and this song has such an important meaning, if it doesn't connect I cannot say I find much else to reel me in, as musically this reminds me of Big Money: I just don't quite get it...(I prefer Big Money).

Just saw this.

Subdivisions. just love this song. the vibe the synth solo. the opening dark synth pulse. Al's solo. Perfect.

I don't get it, I love Rush's synth era, but Signals really doesn't do much for me...when I play it I wish I wish I was playing either seventies Rush or any other eighties release...Maybe it will click, it just hasn't really (but it is one of those albums that on the rare occasion I have desired it, I really loved it). It doesn't enjoy repeat listens the way the rest of their CoS to Presto streak does...

I love them both equally and will not vote in this pointless poll.

I shall have to start calling my polls ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL POLL

Even though I do love Subdivisions, for both mood and message, I have to go with Tom Sawyer.

Subdivisions is a sentimental favourite of mine, but I enjoy Tom Sawyer more.

I think I'll vote for Tom Sawyer too. If it hadn't been for that song, I wouldn't have looked into them thirty plus years ago.

So, this poll isn't so pointless after all.

There is nothing pointless about my polls...excepting that their is absolutely no point in them at all.

Gotta hand it to Tommy, he's aged better than ol' Subdivisions. Love 'em both, though, especially live, but Tom Sawyer is a stronger song.
