Kings x.

My opinion is they were ON FIRE through Ear Candy.

Don't really enjoy past that and i have heard it all.

Mick

I still love them!

But for now they are off my radar.

I've not heard anything I don't at least like. But I'm not excited by them atm so I will continue with them later.

This is so much better without Dawkins......much better flow. like......immensly better

i'm gonna rip this and put it on the album.

Mick

Do so! If the edit makes it better, go for it! Like my personal edit of Train Of Thought.

Just don't slate the DVD when it comes out. That is my all time favourite concert experience...it's going to be a precious gift when my copy arrives lol

Playing Springsteen after months of ignoring him.

For all my love of everything else today, he just completes me.

Bruce Springsteen and Nightwish are pretty much all I need right now. And DT.

i'd recommend the Truth will Set you Free. it's 31 mins but brilliant.

The Whirlwind is actually an album long apic like Six Degrees but an hour and 19 mins, lol

The River...Endless Forms Most Beautiful...Karmacode

My three favourite albums by my three favourite artists.

These could be my top three records of all time. I need to play Karma code soon. Maybe tonight.

But I can happily say Springsteen knocks LC and NW out the battle. He is my single most favourite musician/songwriter/band whatever ever.

Drive All Night is poetry. It's moving me to tears again.

I love this man. Whenever I return to him it's bliss.

take those comments and apply to Tom Waits and you have me.

I haven't listened to Waits in a long time but i imagine it would be the same feelings.

I was silly to doubt Karmacode.

It is a part of me now. Sounds silly but the record is everything I love about music and works on a billion levels I swear.

Most important record of my life.

Toto......OH TOTO.

I leave them behind.....i come back and you are like my comfort band.

Turn Back.......i'm grinning from Ear to Ear.

Mick

I will return...I was thinking about them today.

It's my day off I've been devouring everything!

Devoted by Lacuna Coil just surprised me. After all these years, something about it has burst out and touched me:

"There's no time to deny I will need you,

That's why I'll be there to relieve your painful day."

The best way I could ever describe devotion is sticking to someone no matter what, and I've never really been as struck by this song as I have others.

I really need this right now.

Oh my I have totally forgotten my bond with this album.

Distance has been good.

There are bands out their with better musicians, more direct lyrics, more varied songwriting.

But honestly, nothing matches Karmacode. Everything about it IS ME. It's the most unique bond...

I thought it had faded but tonight it's all come flooding back.

Lacuna Coil are always going to mean more to me than any other band. Sure, they ain't Springsteen. But then again Springsteen ain't exactly Lacuna Coil.

I am still in love with them.

I have never heard a voice more beautiful than Cristina Scabbia on this album. And the vocal work with Andrea Ferro remains my favourite aspect of their sound.

Still the best dual vocalists in my opinion ever.

They remain amazing to this day (for all my criticism I love what they did together vocally on Delirium).

DT's self titled is a masterpiece!

indeed it is.

10/10 for me. there's such a unique energy to it.

Best mangini era album so far.

Mick

The Bigger Picture weighs it down a little...so I can't give it a 10. That song bored me a little...felt like a leftover from Black Clouds (not in a good way).

WHAT? :o

The Bigger Picture is an amazing song.

Never got a Black Clouds vibe from it. The song fits perfectly on the S/T.

I'm having the best time with Dream Theater.

It took me time to get used to the complex arrangements but now I find them absolutely breathtaking.

They may even be my favourite prog group now. Metal/rock whatever...Dream Theater are stealing my life away with their magic.
