Permanent Waves for me, although that whole era was great with his voice. Power Windows was good too.

There were a nice mix of vocal styles on PW and MP, which at times sounded more like "singing" (typical, stereotypical) than the older albums, imho!
That said, I love the raw, throat-clearing wail that he has on the debut. rawk!
The guy sure can sing tho, and seems to have relative if not perfect pitch. A ridiculously talented musician.
