78jazz
The Kid Gloves part bums me out a bit, but I will believe this when the first couple setlists are released.
bscsmkr
Red Lenses sucks IMO - just a horrible songWith Neil not playing the electronic kit this tour I am not seeing how Red Lenses is even possibleSame with "rumors" of them playing Red Sector A or Mystic RhythmsDefinitely take Kid Gloves
GabesCavesOfIce
Why this band is in love with their obscurish 80s material? I will cry and miss them when they retire, but if those are the big surprise songs this tour, maybe its time. they should have paid attention to all the setlist sominex on CA tour.
LaVillaSean
Please I hope we don't get Red Lenses or Kid Gloves....both are very weak songs. If they play something off of Grace under Pressure, I hope it is anything but these two
johnnyonthespot
I was really hoping for enemy within and Afterimage.. Especially Jacobs Ladder.. But I think the band likes songs that some of us are luke warm on...
mrfriendly
I like, anything new and different I'm all for but I do agree this is not what I would be jumping towards. Whoever brought up neils kit, after listening to Red Lenses I don't think he really necessarily needs it to pull this song off for the most part. In fact I can't really think of a lot of songs that he absolutely needs that electronic kit except maybe like Red Sector A/Mystic Rhythms. In fact the majority of those power windows songs on the last tour he did not need that kit. Edited April 22, 2015 by mrfriendly
LocalsBandGuy
Woohoo!! No complaining here. Kid Gloves kicks ass. Red Lenses is a fine song. I've seen the guys almost 40 times and only got 20 seconds of RL for 1 tour. I'll take them over repeat songs any day.
mrfriendly
Theres a live clip of red lenses on youtube from the HYF tour and neil does play it on the electronic but again I don't think he necessarily needs it. I mean he regularly plays the trees now on that kit but when that song was written he of course didn't use electronics. Since we know he will not have that back kit this tour had me thinking what songs he actually uses that on and I'm realizing it really is not a lot, what I can think of from the last couple tours is: Clockwork Angels, Red Sector A, Mystic Rhythms, The Trees and of course the drum solo. Makes sense that he just decided to not bother bringing it. Am I missing anything from that list?
dtpoet
P/G was my first concert and the album thats solidified my rush fandom. Kid Gloves - all for it. Red Lenses - not a huge fan but I do like the beat.
FaceDown
Sounds like a good candidate for alternates - night A gets Kid Gloves, night B gets Red Lenses. Works for me, as I've seen neither of these live.
Super25Smasher
I love both, so I'm all for it. I hope there both played in the same night, and not swapped.

Works for me, as I've seen neither of these live. the swapping makes sense but then again just realized they did a grand designs - body electric - territories run last tour, so they are not opposed to the run of deep cuts in one set, lol. after what FOH said i could definitely see red lenses being a good spot for some interesting visuals Edited April 22, 2015 by mrfriendly
rocketom
Sounds Great! I usually do not go to the bathroom during a concert but if this is true then a bathroom break might be necessary even if only to Vomit. Red Lenses, really, Which one of these Clowns suggested this song.

CaressMySteel
According to the interwebs, the band hasn't played Kid Gloves since the GUP tour.
CaressMySteel
So, according to Johnny's source so far we've got 1. Far Cry with a Hemi Prelude intro, 2. Red Lenses, 3. Kid Gloves and 4. The Anarchist. I can live with that. I really like Far Cry and The Anarchist and any little bit of Hemispheres should be cool. bathory
those of us younger than 45 can now see one of alex's best solos in kid gloves red lenses is a head-scratcher but they seem to be doing the opposite of what folks on TRF want them to do, so maybe we should all talk about how we DON'T want to hear xanadu and jacob's ladder. reverse psychology or some shit
Bigbobby10
I dont get how people wouldn't mind Red Lenses, but hate losing it and don't want that live. I really love Kid Gloves though. Anarchist is good also
