Now I'm not a huge fan of this band but I have their essential albums. They are fuckking great. "Just Like Heaven" is my go to song! Shit it's Friday! I'M IN LOVE!! LOL! Actually I'm on the other end of the spectrum of love. Emptiness, loneliness and loveless. I won't be bugging you guys. I am running away with myself to Monterey for three days. Of course my wife won't go anywhere with me but that's the way it goes.I'm going down there to Carmel to walk the 17 Mile Drive.Not only am I walking it for myself I am also walking it for Breast Cancer Awareness!I have my pink and black shoes. Men's Asics, The Breast Cancer Awareness Center sent me some swag to wear as well! Can't wait! The weather should be perfect. Sunny and 70 in Carmel!I would never pimp the Rush Forum for donations. I'm covered through my company.We have 160 employees. I found out the other day that 13 women who work for us are breast cancer survivors! Totally cool. Please do give me any sympathy or empathy. I'm strong. I love a lot of you guys and gals on here. So anyway, The Cure. This band is fuckking awesome. Cheers! Can't wait to start my adventure!! No worries kids. I'm in great shape but nothing like ROD IN RIO!! LOL!!!!! He's a STUD! Oh yeah and if you don't know me by now, "MY NAME IS EARL!" LOL! NITE! Disintegration was the album that really brought 'alternative' music to the fore at that time, in the late '80s. I was a sophomore or junior in high school back then, broadcasting on the FM station we had there at school. Our music director there was a huge Cure fan, and I remember her wearing that album out on the air, when we got it. (And then I was the music director there, the year after she graduated! That included a lunch break at the beach and a few pit stops!My hammies are sore but I'm good buddy. I would love to me up with you in Rio buddy. I think I actually walked about 20 miles at the end of the day.I will never be like you, a stud runner but I'm a walker and a rocker buddy. Anyway, mission complete. I listened to The Cure on my drive down to Monterey. "Friday I'm In Love!" Anyway I made some money for the Breast Cancer Association. It was awesome. I'm gonna walk until I drop dude. I was confused but I loved it. "The Stranger" is EPIC. Robert Smith is a very talented human. Even though no one gives a shit. "Lovesong" gets me all the time. "I will always love you."
