Allparts maple neck with ebony fretboard. warmoth red alder body (4.75 lbs) shaeller locking tuners, 80's Bill lawrence pickup, dimarzio single coils (as per the new replacements in AL's guitar). Vintage 80's flyd rose non locking tremolo, Vintage switchcraft gibson switch out of a 70's firebird (donated by greg gdeniac of blues airmen guitars detroit). Nice heavey guitar that plays like a dream, when it goes back for a tuneup in a few weeks, I will have him remove the extra tone control and add the hentor sticker. But just FYI, in case you want it to be accurate, the red one never had a custom/funny logo on the headstock. That particular Strat's headstock was painted and finished the same as the body, with a standard CBS-era Fender Stratocaster decal in gold. I think the volume match with your choice of single coil would be very"matching", in that pickup selection wouldn't be overly differential. You will find this with a l500l and I would say that a l500xl would be TOO overbearing,harsh and very mismatched to most single coils, plus you do not need an XL for Lifeson andI am very pleased with my second,more authentic(aestheticaly) hentor,as I've pic,d,but I honestly would consider that mini in my 3rd.
