I have the original muffled 1987 version.And it has served me well. Mostly collecting dust.But now a deal of a lifetime is upon us?I trust these Polls. They are 100% honesty. Segue Myles Posted April 13, 2015 Share Posted April 13, 2015 I have the remaster that was released in 1997. Sounds plenty good to me. I have the original vinyl and the 1997 remaster. Both are glorious. I could listen to the album with my head under water during a blinding migraine and still find much to love about it. As for iTunes sucking a phat one sonically, personally that critique is just music snob rubbish. They sound great. Unfortunately, you have to go waaaaaay in the back for any CD/DVD/B-RAY options. New stuff is overpriced unless you get it day/week of release.
