:blah:   Last call for votes on this regrettable album.  Vote now or forever hold your peace.  Or is it piece?  Whatever.

We are torn apart at the thought of having to have two songs from the album on the list instead of one.

In that case.......

POLL CLOSED

Congratulations to Snakes & Arrows.  The only Rush album that has the honor of having not one, but two, "winners"!

All those who participated in this Round Seventeen, pick up an Avocado on your way out the door.

Thank you.

Why do so many dislike We Hold On?  Just curious what it is about the song you don't like.

 I don't know. I like that one.

I can tell you what I don't like about it. The dweedley dweedley guitar during the chorus is really annoying.

Didn't you like  The Byrds?  We Hold On reminds me a lot of Eight Miles High in parts - the guitar I mean.

They were kind of before my time. I'm not real familiar with any of their songs.

They had a very distinctly '60s sound. And the guitars...the best way I can describe them is "chiming". They chimed.

We recorded and released a song called We Hold On?
Hmmmm...

We're doing Feedback?

That was before S&A though so it would be out of order.

The next album of original material was their Renaissance album after a 25 year detour.

I listened to We Hold On, and about 5 other songs from S&A, on the way home from work.  It actually sucks less than most other non-instrumental songs on this album.
